I drove out west to Montana with my parents to see my brother promoted to Major in the Air Force. It took us 22 hours and 1300 miles to get to Montana.  It was worth every minute of that car ride to be able to see my brother who has worked so hard serving our country in the United States Air Force. I am one Proud Sister.  On the way there we stopped in South Dakota to see the badlands and Mt. Rushmore. Exploring the badlands has got to be one of the coolest places I've seen so far.  Oh my word, let me tell you. These pictures do not do it justice, It's absolutely huge, you have to really be there to get a prospective on just how big it is.  Montana was just as beautiful, lots and lots of farm land, so it was kind of boring to drive through but it was great because every 100 miles or  so we would get the most incredible view of mountains. I had such an awesome time seeing my brother and his family. I don't get to see them very often because every four or so years they have to pick up everything and move again.  So whenever I am able to come and see them, its always exciting.
